Not a historic cooking post, but today I'm feeling a little rundown with a cold and not thinking quite straight...

anyhow, just harvested the first crop of the year, lambsquarters... very tender, very tasty and very free
Raked the ground in April and they were a wonderful size today, it's a trick to get them before they go to seed (at that point they are all stem).

maybe the extra nutrition will help stave off this cold
