Another recipe I have to play with sometime this week... perhaps
In my other blog, recipe a day, I recently put a recipe for Darioles into modern English (with ordered directions). What interests me is that it is marrow, cream, egg and fruit based but no mention of sugar... I would have expected a custard to be sweetened. Perhaps a very heavy cream and sweet dates would make a substantial difference?
Lets just say that it has me curious...
